Guest coaches are selected from the best available current and retired high school coaches and are chosen based on their high moral character and their outstanding ability to teach basketball skills.
Michael Meek - Girls Basketball Director
Coach Meek is the varsity girls’ basketball coach of Southridge High School. In 2003, Coach Meek’s third year at Southridge, the Skyhawks finished in the Final Four of the State Tournament. Since then they have finished in the Final Four for six consecutive seasons. During that span, Coach Meek has led his team to four consecutive Oregon State Titles in 2005, 2006, 2007 and again in 2008. His 2005 team went 29-0, finishing with a USA Today national ranking of #22. His 2006 team finished 27-2 and with a national ranking of #6. Coach Meek has been honored as 2006 Maxpreps National Coach of the year and 2004-2005 Oregon State Coach of the year. He has also been named the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association Girls Basketball Coach of the Year three times.
Other Coaches
Our coaching staff consists of coaches from the Pacific Northwest, many are High School level coaches, but we also select outstanding youth coaches. We have one coach for every 10 campers for the full week camps.
